demoated to middle school even thuogh I'm an adult who used t work there. dtagging my heels so I'm late to class, nbut so at the ooter teachers that work there. They lectre the kids about how if you ake a facebook page to celebrate school being canceled and you'rs a teacher, you shouldn;t let he kids find it. Then they send us on the bus. On the bus, I find out that this one kid with really bad writing is giving ghe other kids instructions on what to practice writing if they want to be a creative writer. The other kids bring these cryptic notes to me to interpret, and I try my best, but the spelling is horrendous. In one it uses the word "god" or "God" or "good" or "Good" many times, but I can't wtll wich is which, so I tell the kid, "okay. I can tell you what each individual part probably means, but I can't tell you what it means overall."

Then the bus gets to it's location and we get. Someone from the custodial plant painted a series of lines of paint over about 6 blocks of the city sidewalk that we're supposed to run and follow. the the lijnes are ddrawn in certain ways to make it clear whether we're supposed to walk, run, do the sideways gallop thing, spin in circles ad we run, etc. we'v done this tseveral times betofre , so we get ot it.

Agnostic Dog Slugs and an Idiot King

Dreamed on 2014.02.08.0852 People letting their dogs out everywhere, mostly on leashes. Our dog (not Bee, some kind of papillon silliness) looks super friendly, but is super scared of all other dogs and will bite them in the face. I try to explain this to people -- it's not a behavior, but a specific disorder that she has -- but they keep saying it won't be a problem and getting their dogs too close. I manage to keep them away until one without a leash runs up, so I pick up our dog and run away. Then, suddenly, every waterspout in the field turns on and there is nowhere to stay dry. The dog and her companion are next to me and rather than being dogs, now they are something aquatic -- like blue sea slugs (glaucus atlanticus) -- and they can talk. We discuss the meaning of the word agnostic and the philosophy of uncertainty, until my brother (not my real life brother, but I'm not real-life me either) comes up and says we're late to swear fealty to the king. neither rocks nor blue water

Dreamed on 2014.10.25.1415 Climbing up steep cliffside which eventually gives way to a lattice-work of logs and branches, some more secure than others. I know there is a cave ahead of me on the other side of the log-mesh I'm climbing, but beneath me there is whitewater so white that I can see neither rocks nor blue water, but rushing whiteness that might as well be cloud. I know that to fall would be to fall for many ages, and that I must have sure footing as I pick my way onward.
